for African American Genealogy Workshop Series

All sessions are held on Tuesdays from 6:30pm-8:30pm at the Oakland Family Search Library.  Attendees can purchase the entire workshop series or individual classes.  Limit 30 workshop attendees per session.  PRE REGISTRATION REQUIRED.  WALK-INS WILL NOT BE HONORED.

What's included in the registration fee?

Entire workshop series registration includes: Reserved space in each workshop and a digital copy of all syllabi. 

Individual workshop registration includes: Reserved space in the workshop regsistered.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

Feel free to bring a way to capture notes (notepad, pen, mobile device, tablet, netbook) and questions.  Food and drink are not allowed in the workshop space.

Is my registration transferrable?

Registrations are not transferrable.

Do I have to bring my printed registration to the event?

Yes. Printed registration is required to participate in each workshop. 

What is the refund policy?

Refunds are not available.

I want to order a t-shirt and/or a mug. Can I have it mailed to me?

Shipping is not available for t-shirts and mugs.  They must be picked up at the workshop. 

Can I buy a t-shirt or mug at the workshop?

T-shirts and mugs cannot be purchased at the workshop but they can be purchased at our monthly meeting.  For a schedule, please visit our website.
